Luxuriously furnished top floor apartment, 3 rooms, 75 m², with 2 bathrooms (bath / shower). The balcony with south / west orientation offers a very beautiful, unobstructed view of the valley and the Swiss mountains. An additional awning can be extended if necessary. The apartment extends over 2 floors - on the lower floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with open kitchen and dining area, a bathroom. In the attic there is a twin room and a small bathroom.

In 2014, the apartment was partly renovated and is ideal for a holiday with 2-4 persons.

The living room has a large leather seating area, TV, WLAN, DVD-Player and HIFI. In the lower bedroom is also a TV available. The open kitchen is equipped with all necessary household appliances (stove, microwave with baking function, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, egg cooker, raclette and fondue machine). The balcony with south/west orientation offers a beautiful, unobstructed view of the valley and the Swiss mountains. An additional awning can be extended if necessary.

The Gomesia-Haus:
The 75 qm attic apartment is located in the Gomesia-Haus, a modern apartment building complex. In the house there is an underground car park in which you can park your car safely. There is also an elevator with which you can comfortably reach the apartment on the 3rd floor. A washing machine and dryer are available in the basement - as well as a ski cellar and a lockable storage room.

The village Lax:
The village of Lax: Lax is a picturesque mountain village below the famous Aletsch Glacier and is located at the entrance to the Goms. Both regions are among the top winter sports areas and are also known for a variety of hiking and cycling tours in summer. In Lax you are away from mass tourism - but thanks to the good infrastructure you can quickly reach many interesting destinations.

The Gomesia house is characterized by its central location!
The supermarket and the tourist information office are in the neighboring house (30 m). The bus station and the small train station are right behind the house. If you arrive without a car, you are mobile using public transport and can easily reach all destinations in the region.

Sport and freetime:
In the neighboring village Fiesch numerous shops and supermarkets can be found, a large selection of restaurants and various recreational facilities (for example indoor pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, climbing walls, squash courts, rope park, etc.). The nearest larger town of Brig is about 16 km away and easily accessible by car or train.

Alpine skiing:
In the winter months, skiers can have fun in the Aletsch Arena (Fiescheralp, Bettmeralp, Riederalp) with guaranteed snow with over 100 kilometers of slopes. A free transfer by train or ski bus to the cable car station in Fiesch, 3 km away, is possible upon presentation of the ski pass. Due to the new building in 2019, the train station, the post bus station and the cable car station are in one building. 10-person gondolas transport you barrier-free up to the Fiescheralp. If the snow conditions are good, you can reach the apartment by sled or ski through a 13 km valley run.

Cross-country skiing:
In nearby Obergoms there is a cross-country paradise with a cross-country network of over 90 km. The next entrance is in Niederwald (approx. 8 km away) and is very easy to reach by train, post bus or car.

In the summer months you can explore grandiose hiking and biking tours nearby. From the small village Lax you reach the top areas: Aletschgebiet, Binntal or the Goms. Also for families with children there are many interesting leisure activities - for example starts in Lax the "Gogwärgiweg", which was worked out specially for children. There are also "easy" bike paths, for example from Oberwald along the Rhone towards Lax. And if a trail is too long, you simply get on the train and drive back to the apartment.
